A New Home!

It is with a great confidence in the sovereignty and generosity of God that I announce Providence Church is purchasing a new building on Preston Rd in the heart of Frisco, TX.  The building is more than 3 times the size of our current facility and rests on 10 acres.  It is also on one of the most coveted corners in the North Dallas, Preston and Lebanon.  With a standing building and undeveloped land we have the space needed for immediate and explosive growth and the acreage needed for long-term expansion.  

It has been 6 months since we first sat down across the table from the owner of the “former Dodge Dealership” and we are confident we have the best deal possible.  We have secured owner financing without personal indemnity and a great stair stepped first 2 years for us to grow into the mortgage.  We are spending the next 45 days doing all of our due diligence with the city, getting paper work and budgets in place so that the process is as smooth as possible. We estimate that we will be able to begin construction in mid-August.  It will take roughly 120 days to complete this project, plus a week or so to set up and get all the bugs worked out.  That will put us in our new building in December of this year!

The elders of Providence Church have met for hours, prayed for months and believe this is clearly God’s next step for us.  Our hope is to move forward, as a unified body ready to be the church God has called us to be.
