Thanksgiving Dinner Drive

DOWNLOAD LIST OF FOOD NEEDED FOR EACH DINNER BOX
BOXES DUE BY NOVEMBER 18TH!

Frisco Family Services has an annual service in which holiday meals are provided to local families. Through canned goods, boxed goods, and gift cards for things like grocery necessities and even frozen turkeys, Frisco Family services and those local churches and organizations that partner with them are able to contribute to help local families celebrate Thanksgiving.

As a church body, Providence will be partnering with Frisco Family Services as a way to give life away to those around us. As a church, we will be sponsoring at least 15 family boxes. We will also be collecting gift cards for turkeys, milk, butter and eggs, coupons for free turkeys (and Tom Thumb Community Bucks), and board games and DVDs for family time. What we ask is that you take a list of needed goods and a donation box and, if you desire to participate (either individually, as a Home Group, or another group), purchase some of the goods as you go to the grocery store and prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving in your own family. Bring COMPLETE BOX to the church and we will then take them to Frisco Family Services on November 18th, the date for drop-offs.

We have so very much to be thankful for, as Believers and as a church. Let’s bless those around us as an act of service and redeeming the city of Frisco and the surrounding communities!
